Marc R. Kauffman is associated with the wine business and travels to major wine producing regions and large cities world-wide. He is a Certified Sommelier and holds the title Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) from the Society of Wine Educators in Washington, D.C.
Over the past 40 years Marc has been involved in every aspect of the wine business, originally founding Stone Creek Wines (California) in 1981. His experience with gourmet restaurants stems from his training at Hilton Hotels Corporation and his personal restaurant management experience. He is currently a finalist on the reality TV Series The Winemakers Season 2.
Restaurant RadarTM is Marc's special talent for finding restaurants "off the beaten path" in some of the places he travels to. He credits his Dad, Larry, with exposing him to fine food and international travel at a young age. This was the inspiration that has lead to the creation of this web site. Now Marc is publishing a collection of photographs from his travels. Some are available for sale in limited editions.
